Abdullah Al Salem Suburb Residential Area

Dahiyat Abdullah Al Salem area is located in the Capital Governorate. The area of Dahiyat Abdullah Al Salem   is 2.67 km2 and it is located on several important streets of Kuwait, namely King Fahd Road, Second Ring Road, King Faisal Road and First Ring Road.   The area is divided into four residential plots and includes 1,277 housing units. It was called in the past Al-Majas or Ramadan, which is the place from which plaster is taken. Then he changed this name to Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah in honor of the eleventh ruler of Kuwait, and it is the first suburb in the series of suburbs. Which bears the names of some of the sheikhs of the ruling family who served the country.   It is also said that its former name is Rawdha, due to the presence of water from the nearby Shami Qalban and its estuary to Rawdah (Al Rawdah), the low place. Others call it the Levantine East.
